A typical celebration
Your wedding weekend
Typical wedding timeline looks like this:
The day begins with breakfast, followed by getting ready time for the couple and wedding party. Photographers usually arrive about two hours before the ceremony starts for the first look and photo session.
Guests typically begin arriving about 30 minutes before the ceremony. The ceremony is scheduled to start around 5:30 PM. Ceremonies usually last between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on your preferences.
After the ceremony, the open bar opens with a cocktail hour featuring two signature drinks. The bartenders will have these ready before the ceremony ends to help avoid crowding at the bar. About an hour later, dinner is served and typically lasts between 40 minutes and an hour.
Following dinner, there will be toast and cake cutting, then the first dance, and the party continues until around 11:00 PM, when guests begin departing.
